“A well was a place where people meet in olden days to seek respite.” Therefore, Date Well Project represents a way to date better where people meet and are refreshed instead of drained.

The Date Well Project is a place where individuals come together to form authentic connections.

We believe that the best moments happen when we do good together, and relationships bloom. We are putting fun and meaning back into dating.

We came up with the Date Well Project (DWP) idea as pandemic restrictions are loosening but a lot of people are still feel socially isolated in Malaysia and crave for a community and more serious relationships. We keep hearing from friends and people around us about how emotionally exhausting using dating apps have become... so we thought to ourselves, “What if we started a dating platform that could refresh the soul instead of draining it?”.

We are also aware that due to the pandemic, NGOs have lost sponsorships and donations. We work to be the bridge for them to continue their work in the community. DWP is especially passionate about causes for children’s health and protection, elderly care, and mental health.

All this said, we envision DWP as a place where individuals come together to form authentic connections and a platform for positive social impact.
